The animals have adapted quite well to Nathaniel's arrival-I am the one who is having the problem adapting to having a baby and pets. The fence has certainly helped prolong the lives of all the animals in our house.
Boo, the cat pictured below (looking surprisingly slim), has become very protective of the baby. She tries to be near him as much as possible. Francis and Donna (our other two cats), are tolerant until he starts making noises then they generally flee.
Ella and Crosby, the dogs, are infatuated with him and take every opportunity to give him a thorough inspection from head to toe with their tongues, much to Nate's delight.
In case you are wondering about the lack of sheets on our bed, Nathaniel had decided to blast through his sleeper, a thick towel and a sheet. He's gross.
